GreenWrap is made through a patented process where kraft paper is die cut into tiny slits throughout the entire roll of paper. The slits are left untouched until the paper is ready to be used. When used, the slits are pulled resulting in an expansion turning the paper into a 3-dimensional honeycomb web of angled cells. The expanded paper is combined with a layer of interleaf paper to keep the cells from opening, creating a cost effective, efficient and environmentally protective packaging solution.
GreenWrap is offered in recycled and SFI certified content. The recycled content is made from fully reused material and can be continued to be recycled. SFI certified content guarantees that the paper is sourced from a forest where trees are being replanted.
Yes. Not only your company logo, but your marketing message can be printed on our custom interleaf, the printed tissue offers a significant advantage for building your company’s brand awareness compared to other protective packaging materials. The expander is an automatic dispenser, which is a compact machine that can be easily placed at your packaging stations. It expands the pre-cut GreenWrap paper on demand and combines it with the interleaf, producing GreenWrap packaging materials as needed by your packers.
It costs less than $1 per month to run one expander under heavy use (3 shifts a day, 30 days per month). The average cost per month in the United States is around $0.37 for industrial rate users and $0.55 for commercial rate users.

“After years of ordering thousands of rolls of bubble and packing peanuts, it was time for an upgrade. We looked at multiple sources of packaging product, but nothing stuck out like Geami’s GreenWrap. It not only replaced our need for bubble, but it also eliminated the need for the extremely messy packing peanut.”
